Cogna, a UK-based startup, has secured $15 million in Series A funding to expand its innovative AI-powered enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. It promises to slash implementation times from months to weeks. The round was led by Notion Capital, with participation from Hoxton Ventures and Chalfen Ventures.
Unlike ERP solutions borthat require lengthy consultations and complex implementations, Cogna’s platform takes a radically different approach by leveraging artificial intelligence to rapidly transform business requirements into working solutions. At the heart of the platform is a conversational interface powered by large language models, allowing business users to describe their operational challenges in plain English — no technical expertise required.
The timing of Cogna’s emergence is particularly significant given the longstanding challenges faced by users of traditional ERP systems like SAP.
